Delete your Motivia account
You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- On the web: sign in at motivia.ai, open Profile, choose Delete account, type DELETE and confirm.
- In the Motivia app: open the Account tab and choose Delete account (at the bottom).
- Without signing in: email support@motivia.ai from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We handle email requests within 30 days.
If you have a subscription, it is cancelled immediately when your account is deleted, with no refund for the remaining period.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name and sign-in details
- All images, videos, music and voice recordings you generated
- All files you uploaded
- Your remaining credits
- Your generation history and prompts
- Your sign-ins in the Motivia app
What is kept, and why
- Payment records stay with our payment provider Stripe for about 10 years, because accounting law requires it.
- A one-way fingerprint of your email address, so the free starting credits cannot be claimed twice. It cannot be turned back into your address.
- Deleted data can remain in our nightly backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.
- Gifts you already sent to other people stay with them.
